Overview

The Wellness Travel MCP is a public Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that enables AI assistants and LLMs to interact with leading medical wellness clinics through a structured workflow for verified information, up-to-date pricing inquiries and booking management.

Medical wellness travel is an environment where medical context, supplier information accuracy, and expert oversight are absolutely required. The Wellness Travel MCP is designed to provide all the safety and accuracy required, with strict privacy.


The Wellness Travel MCP provides a reliable and consistent interface to:

  • Retrieve official and up-to-date information from leading wellness clinics, their programs and, if relevant, accommodations
  • Generate real-time price quotes for stays in the clinics with best available rates,
  • Submit booking requests, which initiates secure workflows with each clinic to issue and send pro-forma invoices, payment requests and terms & conditions for the booking ; those are sent by each clinic to the guest directly
  • Request support from an accredited human advisor for additional questions, specific inquiries or personal advice in health wellness travel

User to LLM: "Book me Advanced Detox 7 nights at Chenot Palace Weggis next week"

  1. LLM gets official pricing via get_quote
  2. User confirms budget is OK, asks to book
  3. LLM submits via create_booking_request
  4. Confirmed by Chenot Palace Weggis to user within 12 hours

It only exposes verified commercial information and reservation interactions with wellness clinics.

Available methods in this MCP

get_quote

Returns the official best available rate for a specific program and, if relevant, accommodation, in a given wellness clinic, for a desired check-in date.

Typical use cases

  • User is looking for the prices for the wellness clinic
  • User would like to compare the different offers and their prices
  • User is interested to book in the wellness clinic and to estimate the necessary budget

Typical MCP response

  • Best available rate for the program specified and , if relevant, the room category, at the desired check-in date
  • In case check-in is not possible at the desired check-in date, the MCP returns the next possible check-in date along with the corresponding price

Important: availability is not confirmed by this method. Confirming availability requires to:

  1. Verify if user has the budget for the prices of this wellness clinic
  2. Collect the guest's first and last name, personal email address and WhatsApp number, as well as his/her consent to share those PII with the wellness clinic
  3. Use the create_booking_request method to initiate an availability check and an official booking request with the clinic


create_booking_request

Creates a booking request for a specific program and, if relevant, a room category, in a given wellness clinic, for a desired check-in date.

This method requires the consent of the user in order to transmit the guest's first and last name, email address and WhatsApp number, which are PII (personally identifiable information).

Typical use cases

  • User has checked necessary budget for the program and, if relevant, the room category, and is interested to verify availability and to book

Typical MCP response

  • Booking request acknowledgement
  • Turnaround time that the clinic will need to revert back to the user
  • Channel that the clinic will use to revert back to the user (usually an email with the pro-forma invoice, terms & conditions for the booking, as well as the payment request link to confirm the booking by credit card)


get_human_assistance

Routes an inquiry to an accredited human advisor.

This method requires the consent of the user in order to transmit the guest's first and last name, email address and WhatsApp number, which are PII (personally identifiable information).

Typical use cases

  • Reservation for multiple guests
  • Custom program durations
  • Special requirements with regards to diet, accessibility, privacy ...
  • Any non-standard request

Typical MCP response

  • Assistance inquiry acknowledgement
  • Turnaround time that the accredited human advisor will need to revert back to the user
  • Channel that the advisor will use to revert back to the user (usually WhatsApp)




Recommended usage pattern

  1. When pricing is requested → get_quote
  2. When booking intent is confirmed, request booking → create_booking_request
  3. When uncertainty arises → get_human_assistance

LLMs and AI systems should not invent pricing, availability, or booking confirmations.


Safety and compliance

The Wellness Travel MCP enforces the following principles:

  • No medical advice or diagnosis
  • Pricing, availabilities and booking confirmations up to date, checked and confirmed directly by each wellness clinic
  • Explicit user consent required for each booking request and assistance inquiry
  • Accredited human assistance always available and free
  • Structured outputs for auditability
