Modern Mayr medicine

The therapy works in three steps: relieving and emptying the bowel to start detoxification, calming the bowel with gentle, easily digestible nutrition, and rebuilding the gut flora with a targeted diet and individual therapies.

Around that core sit comprehensive diagnostics in the in-house laboratory, daily physician consultations and abdominal treatments, detox therapies including infusions and colon hydrotherapy, Original Mayr massages, osteopathy and Shiatsu, dietetics, movement therapy, and Emotional Health coaching and psychotherapy.

A Mayr Prelab service lets guests have their laboratory results ready on arrival. A resort physician also holds monthly consultation days in London, accompanied by an osteopath or Shiatsu therapist, for guests preparing or following up a stay.

Mayr Cuisine

Mayr Cuisine is a therapeutic part of the treatment, not a diet. Dishes are light, easily digestible and entirely gluten-free, and the plan follows a 16/8 intermittent fasting rhythm agreed with your physician and refined by the dietitians.

Breakfast brings warm porridge, freshly baked buckwheat bread with spreads, and eggs three times a week. Lunch opens with a light soup and continues with a main course: meat once a week, fish twice, vegetarian four times. Dinner, depending on medical advice, is a vegetable soup or a bouillon. Coffee, black tea and alcohol are discouraged during the stay.

Modified diets, meaning larger portions, higher protein content or individual intolerance adaptations, carry a supplement of € 45 per person per day.

A historic house

A historic lakeside house with warm, minimalist rooms in natural materials and a soft neutral palette. Thirteen room categories from 18 sqm single rooms to 80 sqm suites, most with a lake view, terrace or balcony. Please note the house has no lift.

The spa in the main building has an indoor pool, a Finnish sauna, a steam bath and a sanarium. A pedestrian bridge leads to the Beach House on the lake itself, with a second Finnish sauna, a sanarium, a relaxation lounge, a sun balcony and a private beach where the water reaches 26°C in summer.

There is also a Beauty Spa for face and body treatments, a gym and exercise studio, and the REVITA Lounge for Kneipp treatments, IHHT and cryotherapy. Guests get reduced green fees at the neighbouring Carinthian Golf Club.

The weekly programme includes morning activation, hikes, Pilates, yoga, water gymnastics, e-bike tours, kayaking, guided sauna rituals, meditation and breathwork, plus lectures by the physicians and dietitians.
