Minos Palace Resort, in detail

01

The property

Minos Palace Resort is a 5-star adults-only sanctuary set on its own private peninsula between the town of Agios Nikolaos and the village of Elounda, on the north-east coast of Crete. Resembling an island within an island, it offers 360° sea views, a private blue flag-awarded beach and an outdoor freshwater infinity pool.

At its heart lies Nao, the Longevity Hub — where innovative, science-led wellbeing and a unique landscape come together to create a transformative journey. Two restaurants and two lounge bars, private dining, organic herbal and vegetable gardens, a wine library and a full watersports and diving centre complete an experience built around conscious living and mindful eating.

The Nao Method

Nao comes from the ancient Greek and means "to flow". Nao at Minos Palace Resort is a longevity hub built on the Nao Method: a personalised approach that draws on the latest findings in longevity science. By harnessing each guest's unique biochemical, genetic and cellular makeup, it aims to slow the ageing process, extending both lifespan and healthspan.

The method rests on five core pillars: Nutrition, Sleep, Movement, Self-Mastery, and Connection & Purpose. Together they address the 14 hallmarks of ageing. Every journey combines state-of-the-art prognostics and biometrics (DNA testing, metabolic and VO2 Max analysis, biological age, HRV, body composition) with a personalised treatment plan.

More on the nao method

The two-floor hub houses 8 single treatment rooms, 2 consultation rooms, a Brain Gym, 3 touchless therapy rooms (photobiomodulation bed, vibroacoustics lounger, cryo chamber), an infrared sauna, hot & cold plunge pools, a vitality pool, an emotional shower tunnel, and indoor/outdoor relaxation and meditation areas. Nao operates 09:00–19:00 daily.

Healthy food

Wellbeing is integral to the dining concept: seasonal, restorative ingredients transformed into nourishing dishes, served in a natural setting surrounded by sea. On Nao programmes, breakfast, lunch and dinner follow a custom full-board meal plan set by the nutritionist. For programs of three days or more, the meals are included in the package.

Amar Restaurant — a beachside escape blending traditional Mediterranean recipes with modern culinary creativity. Mom Restaurant — an indoor-outdoor, all-day space where conscious living meets the science of wellbeing, with à la carte and buffet options. Nama Pool Bar — cocktails curated by Baba au Rum (ranked among The World's 50 Best Bars). Mosa Beach Bar — cocktails and mocktails against an ocean backdrop. Private dining is available, from secluded beachfront dinners to garden settings.

Questions we are asked

Atmosphere, prices, alternatives

What is included in the room rate, and what is paid on arrival?

Rates include bed and breakfast, taxes and service. Greece charges a climate crisis resilience tax on top, which the resort invoices separately and the guest settles on site: €15 per room per night until the end of October, and €4 per room per night in November. Dinner can be added for €30 per adult per night, which turns the stay into half board. Breakfast and dinner are both buffet.

When is Minos Palace open?

The 2026 season runs from mid-April to 28 November. The resort expects to operate from 15 April to 28 November in 2027, though those rates are not yet contracted. It is an adults-only resort, from 18 years.

What is the minimum stay?

Three nights in every season. Rooms are released seven days before arrival, so a late request is confirmed on availability rather than held.
