Chris, founder of WellnessTravelPRO, spent three nights at Clinique Nescens in Genolier in October 2026. He has stayed at many of the leading clinics in Europe, which gives this review its points of comparison. This is his account.
The program
Nescens runs three-day programs for stress, sleep or getting back in shape. Guests rate them highly. Clinique Nescens prepared something different for me: a condensed version of the Cure Reset, the clinic's longevity program, fitted into three nights. What a great surprise! A short longevity stay, packed with consultations and treatments. I was very excited.
Before arrival
Booking was smooth from start to finish. Julie, the customer experience lead, was my single point of contact. She sent every detail I needed in advance. My food preferences were noted with real care.
Because the stay was short, I asked to do my blood tests before arriving. That way the results would be ready for my first consultation. The clinic sent a full list of markers for someone in my situation: male, under 50, in good health. Clinique Nescens has one of the most extensive panels by the way.
I had the tests done at home and sent the results to Julie. She passed them to the medical team. Having one person to deal with made everything easy.
The setting
Nescens is the last building at the top of the Genolier campus. Its neighbour is Clinique de Genolier, one of Switzerland's most advanced private hospitals. The view takes in Lake Geneva and, on clear days, Mont Blanc.

You park right at the entrance. The motorway between Geneva and Lausanne is about 10 minutes away. Geneva is 20 to 25 minutes by car, Lausanne 30 to 35. Midway through my stay, I drove to La Réserve Genève for dinner. I was back in the quiet of the Genolier hills by bedtime.
Julie met me on arrival, alongside the reception team. That was a welcome surprise. The building feels somewhere between a hotel and a hospital. It was designed for people who may need real medical care. Doors are wide. Each room has an emergency button to call a nurse or doctor at night. Everything tells you help is close if you need it.
Rooms and food
The rooms are laid out like small apartments, with a kitchenette and a large dressing room. I was travelling for several weeks with a lot of luggage, and there was space for everything. The rooms are spotless.

Breakfast and lunch are served in the top-floor restaurant, which has the best view in the building. Dinner comes to your room. The cooking matches the best wellness clinics I know. I do not need to lose weight, quite the opposite. The kitchen made sure my portions and protein were enough to hold weight and muscle.

Privacy and the daily rhythm
Nescens never has many guests at once. The restaurant is shared only with program guests and a few day clients who come for check-ups or treatments. At night, the building holds only the guests in their rooms. Medical staff remain on call and arrive quickly if needed.
The clinic can also be privatised. This suits families or delegations who want full medical protocols at the same time.
There is no waiting room and almost no waiting. A nurse or practitioner collects you from your room, already dressed for the session. Afterwards they take you to the next appointment or back to your room. Between treatments, your room becomes your base. That is why its size matters so much.
The lobby has a bar and a few sofas, and I enjoyed time there. Most guests, though, spend their free time alone. Compared with SHA, Lanserhof or Chenot, you are much more on your own. If your daily life is overloaded, that is the point. Nobody expects you to socialise. This is rare in medical wellness.
The medical assessment
This was the most thorough medical assessment I have had. The doctors are very senior. They chose Nescens because they want time with each guest. They look at your medical markers, but also at your stage of life and what you need beyond symptoms. They spend time with you in consultations and between them. Doctors often come back to see a guest when something new occurs to them.

My doctor was Dr Yasmine Rassam-Hasso, a well-known figure in medical longevity. She works hard, travels to conferences and clearly values her family. She has the energy you hope a longevity doctor will have. Our conversations covered everything, including intimate subjects such as sexual health and married life. That openness is what you want from a place like this.
The clinic also draws on the specialists at Clinique de Genolier. Anything that needs further investigation is arranged on the spot.
Her recommendations were precise. I left with a few supplements to add and specific check-ups to plan over the coming years.
Treatments and practitioners
Every session is one to one. There are no group classes. Even yoga is built around what your body can do and what you are working towards.

Kathy, who leads yoga and massage, is outstanding. She already offers a wide range of specialties and keeps adding more. Mishka is a physical trainer and much more. Guests remember how well he listens. Sessions with him easily turn into conversations about health, ageing and enjoying life. The neurofeedback sessions impress almost everyone who tries them.
Contrast therapy was a highlight for me. Cold exposure usually hurts my hands and ankles. Here, ten minutes in an infrared sauna is followed by a 15°C bath, usually for one to one and a half minutes. I stayed in for three to three and a half. The cycle repeats three times. At that temperature, I felt the benefits without any pain.
I also tried hyperthermia for the first time. Forty minutes became challenging after thirty. I came out feeling thoroughly cleared. It sparked my interest in how other clinics use it.
What could be better
The building is functional, comfortable, well decorated, but it's not a woww architecture. It was once a very high-end residence for older people. Compared with Chenot Palace Weggis, there is no moment of wonder on arrival. You come to Clinique Nescens for the quality of its longevity medicine.
This being said, the view and the restaurant are lovely. Elsewhere, the clinical origins show. Bathrooms, for example, are fully adapted for limited mobility. It works well for medical care, but it is not a design statement.
The social side is almost absent. At many clinics, meeting other guests is part of the pleasure. You discuss the treatments you liked, and hear why others came. You will not find that at Clinique Nescens. For guests who want quiet, it is a strength. For others, it may feel a little isolating.
Departure
I had to leave very early, and here as well Clinique Nescens was super flexible. Everything was arranged without fuss, and I even left with a breakfast box, prepared by the in-room dining team. It is a small thing, but it felt like being looked after at home.
Who Nescens suits
Nescens is a real medical longevity clinic. It was once known mainly for aesthetics and still offers excellent aesthetic treatments. Past guests may describe it differently for that reason. Today its core is preventive medicine and longevity markers, and how to slow down ageing. The aim is to help guests feel better now and age better later.
It suits guests who want depth: serious diagnostics, senior doctors with time, and immediate access to hospital specialists. It suits people who need quiet and a break from an overloaded life. Some guests also use the three-day format to prepare for a major sporting event.
It suits less those who want striking design or a lively social atmosphere. If that matters to you, there are better fits.
If you are considering Nescens, talk to us first. We will tell you honestly whether it is right for you, and which program to choose.
