Small, five-star and gastronomic. A spa week at altitude, not a clinic.

LeCrans stands at 1,650 metres at Plans-Mayens, in old forest on the shoulder above Crans-Montana. It is a five-star chalet of fourteen keys, a member of Swiss Deluxe Hotels and of the Leading Hotels of the World, and each room is decorated after a different mountain region of the world, from the Sierra Nevada to Kilimanjaro.
Its restaurant, LeMontBlanc, holds a Michelin star and sixteen Gault Millau points under Yannick Crepaux, with a second and more relaxed table at 1650 by LeMontBlanc and an award winning Valais cellar underneath.
The wellness side is LeSpa: heated indoor and outdoor pools, a jacuzzi, a hammam, a sauna, a fitness suite and treatment rooms working with Valmont. It now runs three signature programmes under the name Just Be, at four, seven and twelve nights, priced per person and all inclusive.
The property
What is the wellness offer at LeCrans?
Three signature programmes, all called Just Be, built around altitude rather than around a doctor. The property argues the case physiologically: at 1,650 metres the thinner air pushes circulation, changes how efficiently the body uses oxygen, and tends to deepen sleep. Everything else in the week is arranged around that.
Just Be Refresh runs four nights and is the taster. Just Be runs seven and is the flagship. Just Be Shape runs twelve and is the only one aimed at visible physical change rather than a reset, adding body sculpting technology to the same frame.
All three are full board on a wellness menu, with private daily movement sessions that use seasonal alpine activity and breathwork, signature spa treatments chosen for circulation and inflammation, and laundry. The room is inside the price.
This is not a clinic and does not present itself as one. There is no resident physician, no diagnostic workup, no blood panel and no fasting protocol. A client who needs any of those should go to a medical address instead. What LeCrans offers is a very small hotel with a serious spa, a serious kitchen and a structured week outdoors. Outside the programmes LeSpa also sells treatments individually, including Valmont facials and Hydrafacial.
What do you eat at LeCrans?
LeMontBlanc holds a Michelin star and sixteen Gault Millau points, serving seasonal cuisine built on Valais produce under Yannick Crepaux. Monika Veleva, the pastry chef, won the Swiss Plated Dessert Championship. The hotel is built around that room, and the wine cellar under it has won awards for its Valais list.
There is a second and easier table, 1650 by LeMontBlanc, run as a sharing menu that moves with the season. Beyond the two restaurants the kitchen also does an afternoon tea from Friday to Sunday, a chef’s table for up to twelve overlooking the open kitchen, and guided tastings in the cellar.
Guests on a Just Be programme eat full board on a wellness menu built to the programme rather than from the gastronomic card, so it is possible to have both in one stay. A guest who wants a restrictive clinic diet, a fast or a supervised eating protocol is in the wrong place.
What are the facilities at LeCrans?
LeSpa has a heated indoor pool with mountain views and a heated outdoor pool on a secluded terrace looking across the Alps, plus a jacuzzi, a hammam, a sauna, treatment rooms and a fitness suite with a treadmill, an upright and an elliptical bike and free weights. Treatments work with Valmont, and rooms are stocked with Aesop.
There are fourteen keys across seven categories, from a 25 square metre Classic Room to a 200 square metre Prestige Apartment with three bedrooms and a kitchen. Most have a fireplace and a private terrace, and every category includes breakfast, spa access and parking. Beyond the bedrooms there is a cigar lounge, a billiard room, the wine cellar and a small nightclub below it.
The hotel sits at Plans-Mayens at 1,650 metres, in forest above Crans-Montana, close enough to the resort to use it and far enough to be quiet. Sion is the nearest airport and Geneva is roughly two and a half hours by road. Crans-Montana itself has the Severiano Ballesteros course, which hosts the Omega European Masters.

Just Be Refresh
4 nights · CHF 8,112

Just Be Refresh
4 nights · CHF 8,112
The short form of Just Be, over four nights. It uses the same idea as the flagship, that living at 1,650 metres does part of the work on its own, and compresses it: circulation, sleep and energy rather than any lasting physical change.
The days pair signature spa treatments with private movement sessions using seasonal alpine activity and breathwork, on a full board wellness menu built from local produce. The property is straightforward that this is a taster of the seven-night programme rather than a substitute for it.
Their own page calls this a three-day programme and then includes four nights of accommodation. Four nights is what is booked and what is priced here.

Just Be
Popular7 nights · CHF 14,862

Just Be
Popular7 nights · CHF 14,862
The flagship, over seven nights. Signature spa treatments, private daily movement sessions built on seasonal alpine activity and breathwork, and a full board wellness menu, all arranged around the argument that high altitude living stimulates circulation, changes how the body uses oxygen and deepens sleep.
The stated aim is to reduce stress, inflammation and fatigue and to lift energy and clarity, rather than to produce a measured physical result. Nothing is diagnosed and nothing is supervised medically.
Their own page labels this six days, calls it a one-week experience in its summary, calls it the flagship seven-day programme elsewhere, and includes seven nights of accommodation. Seven nights is what is booked and what is priced here.

Just Be Shape
12 nights · CHF 28,647

Just Be Shape
12 nights · CHF 28,647
The long one, over twelve nights, and the only Just Be programme aimed at visible physical change rather than a reset. It keeps the altitude argument and the alpine activity but adds targeted body sculpting treatments using their most recent technology, alongside seasonal nutrition and a personalised activity plan.
The stated aims are metabolism, vitality and long term balance. This is still a spa programme and not a medical weight protocol: there is no physician, no diagnostics and no supervised fast.
Their own page labels this eleven days and includes twelve nights of accommodation. Twelve nights is what is booked and what is priced here.

Prestige Apartment
200 sqm · Sleeps 6

Prestige Apartment
200 sqm · Sleeps 6
The largest thing at LeCrans and effectively a flat inside the hotel: three bedrooms, three bathrooms, a living room, an American kitchen, a fireplace and a terrace, with the hotel and its spa on the other side of the door. It takes six.

Prestige Suite
100 sqm · Sleeps 5

Prestige Suite
100 sqm · Sleeps 5
Rocky Mountains is a two-bedroom suite over two floors, with a king bed and a bathroom on each level and a living room with a sofa bed on the ground floor. It looks onto some of the highest summits in the Swiss Alps and takes five people without anyone sleeping in a corridor.

Deluxe Suite
70 sqm · Sleeps 3

Deluxe Suite
70 sqm · Sleeps 3
Les Alpes, the one Deluxe Suite, runs over a ground floor and a mezzanine under slanted beamed ceilings. The panelling is 150 year old pinewood and the effect is a handcrafted Swiss chalet rather than a hotel suite. Living room with a sofa bed below, bedroom and bathroom above.

Junior Suite
45 sqm · Double occupancy

Junior Suite
45 sqm · Double occupancy
Four suites, Everest, Annapurna, Atlas and Dolomites, from 45 to 60 square metres. Everest is panelled and inlaid in the manner of an Indian maharajah’s rooms, Atlas is the North African one, and all four have a king bed, a fireplace, a terrace and a separate seating area.

Deluxe Room
28 sqm · Double occupancy

Deluxe Room
28 sqm · Double occupancy
Three rooms, Kilimanjaro, Anatolie and Oural, running from 28 to 36 square metres. Each is decorated after the region it is named for, from an East African lodge to the Silk Road to a Russian dacha, and each has a king bed, a fireplace, a dressing area and a terrace.

Superior Room
35 sqm · Double occupancy

Superior Room
35 sqm · Double occupancy
Three rooms in this category, Ours, Marmotte and Chamois, each with a king bed, a fireplace, a terrace and an ochre stone hearth. They read as contemporary mountain rooms rather than themed ones, and they are the best value way into the property.

Classic Room
25 sqm · Sleeps 3

Classic Room
25 sqm · Sleeps 3
The entry category and the only one without a terrace or a fireplace. Sierra Nevada is the single Classic Room, panelled in dark wood with a red-draped four-poster bed and a black stone bathroom. It is the one room the property will not quote a published rate for.

Frequently asked questions
Does LeCrans have wellness programmes?
Yes, three, all under the name Just Be. Refresh runs four nights at CHF 8,112 per person, the flagship Just Be runs seven nights at CHF 14,862, and Shape runs twelve nights at CHF 28,647. All three are full board and include the room, the treatments, private daily movement sessions and laundry. Prices include Swiss VAT. A second guest can share the room on bed and breakfast.
How big is the hotel?
Fourteen keys across seven categories, from a 25 square metre Classic Room to a 200 square metre apartment with three bedrooms. Each is decorated after a different mountain region of the world and most have a fireplace and a private terrace. That size is the point of the place.
Is LeCrans a clinic?
No. There is no doctor on site, no diagnostics, no blood work and no fasting. It is a five-star hotel with a good spa and a structured wellness week. For anything medical we would send you to a clinic instead, and Switzerland has plenty.
Is the restaurant a problem if I am here for wellness?
It depends what you want. LeMontBlanc has a Michelin star and sixteen Gault Millau points, and the hotel is built around it. Programme guests eat a wellness menu on full board rather than the gastronomic card, so the two coexist. If you are after a fasting or clinical programme, this is not the address. If you want mountain air, a good spa and a serious dinner, it is.
What is not included in the programme price?
City tax at CHF 5 per person per day, anything ordered from the gastronomic card beyond the programme menu, and any treatment booked on top of the ones the programme carries. Transfers are not included either. The published price is per person and covers the room, so a solo traveller is not paying a single supplement on top.
