AKI Family Resort Plose

AKI is the ADLER group's first resort built for families, named after Aki, the little eagle who has been the mascot of the ADLER kids' clubs for years. It stands out through its childcare from 30 days old, running 9:00 to 21:00, the dual wellness concept (a 2,200 m² water world with four heated pools and three slides for the family, plus an adults-only spa in the forest with Finnish and herbal saunas, a plunge pool and a yoga pavilion), a 600 m² indoor play paradise, and the quality of ADLER Spa treatments. AKI Full Board removes meal planning stress entirely and also covers e-bikes, buggy hire, the Plose shuttle and the Brixen Card. The suites in untreated spruce wood, with a separate kids' room and full baby equipment, set a new standard for family resort accommodation.

Family Suite rates start from approximately 588€ per suite per night (for 2 adults and children), including AKI Full Board, childcare, water world access, the activity programme, e-bike and buggy hire, the Plose shuttle, the Brixen Card and all inclusive services. A local tourist tax of €3.80 per person per day is charged on top of the room rate, and children under 14 are exempt. Spa treatment packages range from 92€ (Kids Wellness) to 463€ (Family Spa Package). Special offers can bring the per-night rate down for longer stays.

Within the ADLER family, ADLER Lodge Alpe is a nearby mountain chalet alternative (also family-friendly but more intimate). For adults-only medical wellness, ADLER Balance in Val Gardena offers structured ADLER Med programmes without children. For a warmer climate family option, ADLER Sicily combines ADLER hospitality with Mediterranean surroundings. AKI welcomes children from birth. Childcare runs daily from 9:00 to 21:00 in two age groups: a daycare centre for babies and toddlers from 30 days to under 3 years, with healthy baby food and full baby equipment, and an age-appropriate programme from 3 years upwards with supervised meals in the children's restaurant. The resort has dedicated spaces for every age, including a two-storey play barn, a toddler area with a bobby car track and tree house, a painting studio and wood workshop, a teens' lounge, an outdoor adventure zone with a children's cable car, and a children's ski slope in winter.

AKI Full Board covers far more than meals. Food and drink: breakfast, lunch, dinner, afternoon snacks, all non-alcoholic drinks, a dedicated children's gourmet menu, a supervised children's bistro and a 24-hour baby bar. Also included: childcare in the Kids Club from 9:00 to 21:00, the daily indoor and outdoor activity programme, guided hikes and e-bike tours with free e-bike hire, free hire of buggies, pushchairs, rucksacks, poles and hiking maps, daily yoga and meditation in the yoga pavilion, the free shuttle to the Plose ski and hiking area, one Plose cable car round trip per day per family (not included from 11.07 to 04.09.2026), and the Brixen Card for free public transport and entry to the Bressanone museums.

The ADLER Spa is set apart in the forest, a cluster of small cottages away from the family water world, with a relaxation room, a herbal sauna at 60°C, a Finnish sauna at 90°C with daily infusions, an outdoor plunge pool, an outdoor fireplace and daily yoga classes in the yoga pavilion. Adults also have a 100 m² Technogym fitness studio on the top floor with panoramic views. Treatments are ADLER Signature Treatments using ADLER Spa Active Cosmetics, and can be booked before arrival. The family-friendly AKI water world, with its pools, slides and textile family sauna, is available to everyone.

AKI offers spa programmes for every family member: Kids Wellness (ages 5-11, from 92€), Family Spa Package (shared treatments for parents and children, 463€), Baby & Us (for parents of children 0-4, 374€), Mum Harmony (dedicated programme for mothers, 333€), and various adult packages including Antistress, Beauty Relax, and couples' rituals. Children's treatments include the AKI Kid's Stone massage and Bubble Bath.

On site there are 40,000 m² of woods and gardens with an adventure playground, a children's cable car, a small farm with a petting zoo and duck pond, and a climbing wall. The Plose itself is seven minutes away on the free hotel shuttle: the Plosebob toboggan run reaches speeds of up to 40 km/h, mountain carts run a 9 km descent, and the Plose Loop offers four downhill mountain bike trails for beginners and experts. Family walks include the pram-friendly "Woody Walk" with play stations along the way and the "Lorggen" legend hike. Guided hikes and e-bike tours go out with qualified mountain guides, with e-bikes and hiking equipment free of charge.

Suite rates start from 588€ per suite per night for the Family Suite (including AKI Full Board and all inclusive services), from 780€ for the Family Suite Superior, and from 938€ for the Family Home (up to 7 guests). A local tourist tax of €3.80 per person per day is charged on top of the room rate, and children under 14 are exempt. Special offers and seasonal packages may offer better value for longer stays.

It is the resort's own cancellation cover, offered at 15€ per room per night on top of the stay. It applies if you or another occupant of the room cannot travel for health or accident reasons, if a first-degree relative is hospitalised after a serious accident or sudden emergency, or if serious damage to your property requires your presence at home. Supporting documents are needed for a claim. It covers full cancellations only, not late arrivals or early departures, and it is neither refundable nor transferable to other dates. A deposit of 20% of the booked services confirms a booking, and without the cover the standard scale applies: free of charge up to 20 days before arrival, 50% from 19 to 3 days before, and 100% from 2 days before or for a no-show.

Every suite comes equipped with comprehensive baby supplies including a cot, changing table, bottle warmer, and baby bathtub, and the family bathrooms have a changing table and a children's wash basin. Wardrobes are at child-friendly heights with space for a pushchair. Around the resort there is a parent-baby station with a microwave, bottle warmer, fresh fruit, powdered milk and healthy baby food, available 24 hours a day, and fresh purées are prepared in the restaurant on request. Buggies and pushchairs are free to borrow. Parents can travel light, AKI has everything covered.

AKI Family Resort Plose is at Via Koja 20 in Meluno, Bressanone (Brixen), on the Plose mountain in South Tyrol. The nearest airports are Innsbruck (approximately 1 hour), Bolzano (30 minutes), and Verona (approximately 2 hours). A free hotel shuttle runs to the Plose ski and hiking area in seven minutes, and the included Brixen Card covers all public transport in the valley.
