Victoire's review

My preferred reset on the French Riviera. I sometimes come on my own, and sometimes with the family, but it's always great, and in all seasons. The most blissful experience of health and wellness. The GM is one of the very best.

A true luxury hotel

Lily of the Valley has 53 rooms and suites, it's a relatively small property, and the attention to each guest's experience is very high.

The sport and wellness facilities support high-intensity and gentle training alike. For swimming for example, there is a semi‑Olympic pool heated all year round and meant specifically for training.

More on a true luxury hotel

There is also a large fitness room, a dedicated Reformer Pilates studio (new in 2026), a cryotherapy chamber (new in 2026), complemented by outdoor activities in the protected Cap Lardier estate.

The trail by the sea is a must-try. The mountain-biking is also a great experience. And clients love the sea-wading activity.

Atmosphere, prices, alternatives

What is unique about Lily of the Valley?

Lily of the Valley is one of the most successful luxury wellness hotel, because it has fully understood how to offer a profound wellness experience to those who look for it, while being an incredible leisure luxury hotel in the same time, with a fantastic restaurant, a cool beach club, a great bar by the pool, lots of beautiful people and really nice vibes.

What are the luxury wellness hotel alternatives to Lily of the Valley?

The same kind of clients who love Lily of the Valley for its wellness programs, also love Marbella Club, Six Senses Ibiza, Adler Sicily, as well as Royal Mansour Tamuda Bay. Those who are more into golf but nonetheless love wellness-focused resorts love Camiral in Spain, and Grand Resort Bad Ragaz in Switzerland.

What therapeutic approach underpins Lily of the Valley’s programs?

A structured method based on three pillars - daily treatments, sport, and weight-loss cuisine - guides each program. Nutrition follows the Jacques Fricker approach, while training and treatments are individualized using objective assessments. It's not medical, but it's still very effective wellness.

What diagnostics and evaluation tools are used?

Programs feature bioimpedance analysis for body composition, Kinvent technology to assess strength and mobility, and Biologique Recherche Skin Instant Lab for skin diagnostics. These inform personalized training, nutrition, and treatment plans.

How intensive are the daily treatments?

Core programs generally schedule around 90 minutes of targeted body treatments daily, while the Better Aging program allocates approximately 2.5 hours per day to body and facial treatments.

Which therapeutic modalities are available?

Therapies include cryotherapy (including a chamber), Indiba radiofrequency, osteopathy, lymphatic drainage, Chi Nei Tsang abdominal therapy, deep and firming massages, LED light therapy, and Biologique Recherche face treatments. No medical modalities. No doctor on site.

How is the food during programs?

Guests follow full-board, healthy gourmet menus designed to support weight loss without sacrificing culinary quality. Detox menus can be gluten- and lactose-free, and the Weight Loss program follows Jacques Fricker’s TGV method (including an optional glass of wine at dinner). The chef is really good.

Who supervises the programs?

Guests are supported by wellness advisors of the Shape Club. They are expert therapists and certified coaches who monitor progress, adjust training routines, and personalize treatment protocols. The coaches are quite senior, experienced, and adapt the approach to each guest level and objectives.

Can programs be combined?

Yes. Sport, Detox, and Better Aging programs can be combined with the Weight Loss focus, enabling tailored outcomes across fat loss, muscle gain, detoxification, and longevity.

What training facilities and activities are available?

The Shape Club offers two semi‑Olympic heated pools, a large fitness room, a Reformer Pilates studio, as well as studios for private and group classes, and extensive outdoor activities in the Cap Lardier estate (e.g., trekking, cycling, sea-based sessions). Over 40 weekly activities are available.

Is remote work feasible during a wellness stay?

Yes. Rooms and villas are equipped with fiber‑optic internet (up to 4 Gbps), supporting videoconferencing and large file transfers. The program schedule can also be adjusted to make sure you have time for work each day.

What pet policy applies?

Dogs are accepted for €60 per day. They must be leashed in all areas, and are not permitted at pools or on the beach; guests are responsible for any damage.
