RAKxa Integrative Wellness sits on Bang Krachao, a protected green island in a bend of the Chao Phraya river that Bangkokians call the city’s green lung. It is around forty minutes from the centre of Bangkok, and feels considerably further.
RAKxa is a medical wellness retreat rather than a spa. Its premise is integrative: contemporary diagnostics and doctor-led medicine on one side, and Traditional Thai Medicine, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ayurveda and energy medicine on the other, deliberately used together rather than offered as alternatives to one another.
The clinical side is genuinely equipped, with hyperbaric oxygen chambers, cryotherapy, intravenous nutrient protocols, Redcord suspension and biomechanical assessment, VISIA facial skin analysis and body composition testing. The traditional side runs just as deep, with resident Thai and Chinese medicine doctors and a full Ayurvedic treatment repertoire.
Guests stay in private villas, eat food grown partly on the property’s own organic farm, and follow a programme set by the medical team after an initial assessment. RAKxa is part of the same group as RXV Wellness Village in Sampran.

Integrative medicine
RAKxa’s method is built on three stages: integrative diagnostics, integrative solutions and integrative nutrition.
Diagnostics come first. Body composition analysis, biomechanical and physical movement assessment, basal metabolic rate testing, facial skin analysis and consultations with medical, Traditional Thai Medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine doctors together establish where a guest actually stands before anything is prescribed.
The therapeutic repertoire is unusually broad: anti-ageing medicine including hyperbaric oxygen, cryotherapy, IV infusion and Weber laser; physical and sports therapy including Redcord suspension, Pilates and corrective exercise; Ayurveda including Abhyanga, Shirodhara, Elakizhi and Marma healing; Traditional Chinese Medicine including acupuncture, Gua sha, Chi Nei Tsang and Tai Chi; Traditional Thai Medicine including court-type massage, Toksen, herbal compress and medicinal herbal bathing; energy medicine including Reiki, singing bowl healing and stone healing; hydrotherapy and therapeutic spa.
Nutrition runs through everything. Meals are personalised to the programme, drawing on the property’s organic farm and herb garden, with synbiotic support and a cooking class at UNAM for guests who want to take the approach home.
Food at RAKxa
Three wellness cuisine or detox meals per person per night are included in every programme, personalised to the guest’s programme and assessment.
The kitchen draws on RAKxa’s own organic farm and herb garden, and the menu is built around anti-inflammatory, organic and seasonal principles rather than restriction for its own sake. Synbiotic support is used where the programme calls for it.
The villa minibar is complimentary and stocked with healthy drinks, herbal tea and fresh seasonal fruit. Guests interested in continuing at home can take a cooking class at UNAM, the property’s culinary space.
Luxury villas
Accommodation is in private villas of two categories: the Garden Villa at 80 sqm, which is included in every programme price, and the Pool Villa, available as an upgrade.
The medical and therapeutic facilities include hyperbaric oxygen chambers, a cryo sauna, whole-body light therapy, IV infusion suites, a Redcord and suspension studio, Pilates equipment, and dedicated treatment rooms for Ayurveda, Traditional Thai Medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine.
The hydrotherapy area is included with every stay and comprises a vitality pool, steam room, herbal steam room, sauna, chill shower and cold plunge pool. There is also a floatation suite and an experience shower.
The wider property includes an organic farm and herb garden, and the setting on Bang Krachao means cycling and walking routes through protected mangrove and green space directly from the resort.

Yes. Every RAKxa programme price includes overnight stay in an 80 sqm Garden Villa, along with round-trip airport limousine transfer, three wellness cuisine meals per night, a complimentary minibar, laundry and full use of the hydrotherapy area. Upgrading to a Pool Villa costs an additional THB 7,000 per villa per night.
What does the “plus” mean on some programme names?
The plus tier adds medical laboratory testing to the standard programme inclusions, so treatment is guided by measurement rather than assessment alone. On several programmes the plus version is also offered over a longer stay.
How far is RAKxa from Bangkok?
About forty minutes by car from central Bangkok. RAKxa sits on Bang Krachao, a protected green peninsula in a bend of the Chao Phraya river, so despite the short journey it is genuinely quiet. A round-trip limousine transfer from Suvarnabhumi airport is included in every programme.
