Each day has a specific therapeutic intention, from lymphatic drainage and cryotherapy on day 2, through acupuncture and Pilates Reformer on day 3, to sound healing and aqua yoga by the final days. The property
Royal Mansour Tamuda Bay is a seaside luxury resort, part of the prestigious Royal Mansour collection. What sets it apart from most luxury wellness hotels is its Medi-Spa: a genuinely medical facility with a resident physician team, not just a spa that has added a few consultations.
It is a relatively intimate property, with only 55 keys in total: suites and private villas. All are incredibly stunning.

What sets Royal Mansour Tamuda Bay apart from most luxury wellness hotels is its Medi-Spa, a genuinely medical facility with a resident physician team rather than a spa that has simply added a few consultations. The 4,300 sqm Medi-Spa pairs traditional rituals with the latest technology across beauty, wellness and health, and includes longevity programmes designed to restore vitality from within.

Dining spans several restaurants, from Sesamo’s Italian cuisine to Mediterranean tables that celebrate local Moroccan produce, so wellness-minded guests and those seeking pure pleasure are equally well served. Menus can be aligned with a guest’s programme when required.

Royal Mansour Tamuda Bay is an intimate seaside resort on Morocco’s Mediterranean coast between Tetouan and Tangier, a region sometimes called Andalusian Morocco, with the Rif mountains rising behind a 700-metre beach across a 10-hectare estate.
It has just 55 keys in total, from one and two-bedroom suites to Prestige, Princière and Royal villas, all beautifully appointed.

There are 16 Deluxe Suites, on the garden level or first floor, with a choice of garden or sea views. Each has a spacious terrace, a lounge area, and a bathroom with both a bathtub and a rainforest shower. The design leans Mediterranean minimalist, with warm neutrals, stylised mosaics, works of art. Nothing fussy, nothing excessive.

Quite medical. A resident doctor conducts the initial assessment, reviews all blood results, and remains available for follow-up consultations throughout the stay. Cortisol analysis, VO2max testing, and cardiac coherence assessment are standard inclusions. The approach is closer to functional and preventive medicine than to traditional spa wellness. When I tested the program at Royal Mansour Tamuda Bay, I was supported by 2 different doctors, and both were absolutely great.
Is this a detox program?
Not in the strict fasting sense. The Longevity Programs of Royal Mansour Tamuda Bay include healthy diet guidance and a personalised menu, but the focus is on metabolic rebalancing rather than calorie restriction or in-depth detox. Guests follow a nutrition program designed around their personal objectives and the results of the initial medical examinations. It's optimised and healthy, but not a deprivation protocol.
