What do you eat at Ananda?
Ananda's cuisine follows dosha principles. Every guest receives a Lead Consultant assessment that identifies whether their constitution is Vata, Pitta, or Kapha dominant. Menus are built around that profile and adjusted through the stay.
Three wellness meals are served daily. The kitchen draws from six taste categories (sweet, sour, salty, pungent, bitter, astringent) and blends Western and Eastern cooking techniques. Emphasis is on whole grains, fresh vegetables and fruit, lean fish and chicken, and low-fat dairy. No added salt, artificial colours, flavours, or preservatives are used.
Dining venues include the main Restaurant, the Palace Lounge for tea, a poolside setting, and private dining on request. Dietary accommodations for gluten-free, nut-free, and dairy-free guests are standard. The Ananda Wellbeing app offers recipes by dosha for use at home.
