Brenners Park-Hotel & Spa has stood between the Lichtentaler Allee and the Black Forest for over 150 years, and following a landmark renovation it has reopened with its interiors reimagined. Villa Stéphanie is the wing where the wellness accommodation sits, and next to it are the two things that make this property matter: Brenners Spa & Wellbeing, and Brenners Medical Care.
What sets it apart from every other medical spa at this level is that the medicine is not run by the hotel. Independent private practices operate inside the house: Dr Harry F. König and colleagues for integrative naturopathy, Dr Yusuf Yildirim for aesthetic medicine, Dr S. Marcus Beschnidt for dentistry and sports dentistry, and Liliane Goschy for physiotherapy and medical fitness. You are treated by practising specialists who happen to work inside a grand hotel, not by a spa team with a doctor on call.
The range is genuinely exceptional. It runs from a four day dental check-up at € 1,300 to the ReLIFE Longevity Protocol at € 44,660, which combines chelation-based detoxification, plasma and haematopoietic immune reset, and autologous pluripotent stem cell therapy. In between sits Ultimate Medical Health, a fourteen day package including whole-body MRI, gastroscopy and colonoscopy, genetic analysis and skin cancer screening, which is the deepest diagnostic programme in our catalogue. The house framing is that guests are never patients.
The property
Brenners Medical Care
Every programme begins with a comprehensive diagnostic process, which forms the foundation for a tailored integrative plan. From your results the team adjusts your nutrition and builds a targeted exercise plan for your physiology and lifestyle, complemented where appropriate by vital nutrients, homeopathic treatments and phytotherapy.
The diagnostic range is unusually wide for a hotel. Resting and stress ECG, echocardiography and duplex sonography of the heart, high-resolution ultrasound of the abdominal organs, thyroid and carotid arteries, pulmonary function testing with oxygen metabolism, blood gas analysis of acid-base balance, urinalysis and immunological stool testing, heart rate variability for the autonomic nervous system, and bioimpedance analysis for body composition. Every stay closes with a written report, dietary guidance and a personal training plan.
Dr König’s practice covers holistic integrative medicine alongside classical university medicine, and its listed services now include targeted detoxification with heavy metal protocols, regenerative therapies for cellular renewal, orthomolecular vital substance therapy, biological therapy options supporting the treatment of malignant conditions, holistic orthopaedics, and stem cell therapy.
Liliane Goschy’s physiotherapy practice supplies the movement side across almost every programme, working through Physio Plus, Medical Movement Training, Joint Harmony manual therapy, LymphBalance, CranioSacral Balance, Fascia Release, Postural Therapy, gait diagnostics, Mobility Five and intermittent hypoxic training, plus a multimodal treatment for chronic fatigue syndrome. Individual sessions run from € 170 to € 200, with the two-therapist Therapy Duo at € 450.
Aesthetic medicine sits with Dr Yusuf Yildirim and YY Aesthetics, and it is entirely non-surgical: botulinum toxin and hyaluronic acid alongside Endolift laser, biostimulants such as polylactic acid, polynucleotides and calcium hydroxyapatite, mesotherapy, radiofrequency microneedling, IPL, Erbium, ResurFX and CO2 lasers, HIFU and ultrasound. A consultation is € 150, skin rejuvenation from € 450, mid-face lifting from € 1,400, the signature YY FullFace from € 8,000.
One practical point that catches people out: all medical services are invoiced according to the GOÄ, the German medical fee schedule, and no programme price includes the room. The two are quoted separately and always have been.
Vitality cuisine
The house diet is called vitality cuisine and it is lactose and gluten free as standard, with an individual menu plan built around your findings, and vegetarian or vegan on request. Water and tea are included throughout. It runs through almost every programme, which is unusual: at most medical spas the diet is a separate purchase.
The framing is deliberately not restrictive. The nutritionists analyse dietary needs and then build a plan around enjoyment, on the argument that a protocol nobody wants to repeat at home has failed regardless of what the scales say. Diet gourmet chefs cook it, which is a meaningful distinction in a hotel that also runs Fritz & Felix.
Guests not on a medical programme eat in the Wintergarten restaurant or at Fritz & Felix, and Les Salon inside Villa Stéphanie serves as the common dining room for the house, with a library and a terrace opening onto the private park.
Brenners Spa & Wellbeing
Brenners Spa & Wellbeing sits within the hotel’s private parkland and is arranged around a Roman-style pool, a 500 square metre sauna area, a plunge pool, a dedicated Ladies Spa and a fitness centre. The atmosphere is deliberately quiet: dimly lit saunas, marble-clad steam rooms and a tranquil indoor pool looking into the trees. Full access is included with every medical programme.
Treatments run from advanced facials using Augustinus Bader through to holistic therapies rooted in older traditions. Brenners Medical Care itself occupies Haus Julius, adjacent to the spa, which is where consultations, diagnostics and medical treatments take place.
Wellbeing here extends well beyond the treatment rooms. Forest bathing, breathwork and morning hikes in the Black Forest are curated by the team, and the surrounding region supplies the rest: opera at the Festspielhaus, vineyard picnics, vintage car tours, and dinner at Fritz & Felix.
Baden-Baden itself has held the UNESCO title Great Spa Towns of Europe since 2021, so the thermal culture around the hotel is genuine rather than decorative.
Programs
Dental Relax
3 nights · €650
Dental Relax
3 nights · €650
For bruxism, which the practice treats as a stress disorder that happens to present in the mouth. Grinding and clenching wear the dental hard tissue and periodontium and can damage the joint itself, and the causes are usually stress at work or at home rather than dental.
The check-up covers the temporomandibular joints, masticatory muscles and jaw mobility including measurement of boundary movements, now with AI-supported diagnostics. Treatment for associated sleep disorders, concentration problems and taste impairments is part of the conversation.
Winners Bite
3 nights · €870
Winners Bite
3 nights · €870
Sports dentistry, which is a genuine discipline and one almost nobody offers inside a hotel. Dr Beschnidt is a certified sports and team dentist, and the premise is that hidden inflammation or an incorrect bite measurably reduces athletic performance.
What makes it different from the other dental packages is that it leaves the dental chair: treadmill video analysis with a sports coach and postural cybernetic analysis with a physiotherapist, both now AI-supported, sit alongside the jaw diagnostics, so the bite is assessed in the context of how you actually move.
Baden Smile
4 nights · €1,300
Baden Smile
4 nights · €1,300
A full oral health check-up on the argument, which the practice takes seriously and cites studies for, that unexplained general medical findings often originate in the jaw area. Oral health measurably affects performance, stamina and the ability to concentrate.
The 2026 examination adds AI-supported diagnostics covering a posture scan and X-ray analysis, plus a vitamin D analysis to optimise bone mineral density and healing and an omega-3 index to assess soft tissue healing and inflammation risk. That is a considerably broader workup than a dental check-up implies.
Treatment
Medical Care Total, Diagnostic Module
5–7 nights · €6,500
Treatment
Medical Care Total, Diagnostic Module
5–7 nights · €6,500
A diagnostics-only version of Medical Care Total, sold as an add-on to another programme rather than as a stay in its own right. Brenners offers it when a guest has not had a comprehensive medical check-up within the past year, on the argument that it gives the medical team a solid diagnostic foundation and lets them tailor the rest of the treatment plan far more precisely.
It carries the imaging, cardiac, vascular, pulmonary and autonomic testing of the full package and closes with an individual final report including laboratory parameters and nutritional advice, plus a personal training plan. What it does not include is the full clinical examination, the detailed laboratory discussion and the nutritional counselling that make up the € 7,800 five day programme.
Priced at € 6,500 per person, excluding accommodation, and designed to sit alongside a Detox, Metabolic Balance or similar programme.

Medical Care Total
5 nights · €7,800

Medical Care Total
5 nights · €7,800
The full diagnostic workup, and the programme to choose if the question is simply where do I actually stand. Five days of examination rather than treatment, closing with a personalised final report, tailored nutritional guidance and a customised training plan.
It is the widest single diagnostic sweep short of the Ultimate Medical Health package, and unusually complete for a hotel setting: cardiovascular function under load, organ ultrasound, lung function, autonomic nervous system, vascular function, acid-base balance and full laboratory work, all discussed with you in person.

Detox & Weight Loss, 7 days
Popular7 nights · €8,035

Detox & Weight Loss, 7 days
Popular7 nights · €8,035
The house signature, and the programme most guests come for. It integrates deep cleansing with sustainable weight reduction, gently eliminating harmful substances while relieving the key detoxification organs, particularly the liver.
The emphasis on learning is deliberate. Alongside the clinical work you explore nourishing, flavourful ways of eating, developing habits that support your body’s natural cleansing mechanisms and promote balanced, long-term weight loss rather than a number that lasts a fortnight.

Medical Care Best Sleep
7 nights · €8,745

Medical Care Best Sleep
7 nights · €8,745
A full week built around sleep, and considerably more substantial than the short sleep package Brenners used to run. The centrepiece is an in-depth nocturnal sleep analysis monitoring heart rhythm, blood pressure, body position, oxygen saturation and respiratory function together, which is what separates it from any consumer sleep tracker.
Around that sits a complete programme: full laboratory screening, body composition analysis and retest, altitude training, an extensive physiotherapy schedule, and expert sleep counselling including guidance on digital detox. You leave with a personalised report and specific recommendations on sleep hygiene.

Beautiful and Healthy
7 nights · €11,385

Beautiful and Healthy
7 nights · €11,385
The house argument that appearance follows health rather than the other way round. Carefully selected spa, internal and dental treatments are combined with expert advice on aesthetic refinement, all built on a full laboratory and body composition foundation.
It is the only programme bringing all three practices into contact: internal medicine from Dr König’s team, dental hygiene from the Beschnidt practice, and a beauty consultation and anamnesis with Dr Yusuf Yildirim, whose aesthetic work is documented separately in the brochure. The stated goal is to help you shine from within rather than to intervene.

Metabolic Balance
7 nights · €13,983

Metabolic Balance
7 nights · €13,983
For a metabolism that has slowed, whether through inactivity, crash dieting, illness, surgery or injury. The house description is blunt about the consequence: vitality decreases and the body ages faster than the actual years of life.
It is the most physiotherapy-heavy of the seven day programmes, running five Physio Plus sessions, four LymphBalance treatments, two Connective Balance and two Fascia Release sessions, gait analysis and CranioSacral work alongside a full laboratory panel and a customised menu planning session.
Departure is always on a Monday, so arrival is Sunday, on request and subject to availability.

Orthopaedics Package
7 nights · €14,251

Orthopaedics Package
7 nights · €14,251
Spinal and joint pain treated by an experienced orthopaedic specialist rather than by a spa therapist. Your spine, the entire musculoskeletal system and your training status are analysed, and a tailor-made therapy and exercise programme is built from the findings, usually supplemented by physiotherapy.
The treatment side is properly orthopaedic: two comprehensive chirotherapy sessions for spinal alignment and joint mobility, four Pneumatron treatments to stimulate circulation and support muscular recovery, three SonoStim sessions and two fascial release sessions, with five Medical Movement Training and five Physio Plus sessions alongside. Laboratory work includes orthopaedic parameters.
The package starts on a Monday or a Wednesday, so arrival is Sunday or Tuesday, on request and subject to availability.

Detox & Weight Loss, 14 days
14 nights · €14,490

Detox & Weight Loss, 14 days
14 nights · €14,490
The same protocol given twice the time, which in practice means roughly double the treatment volume, two postural therapy and mobility sessions rather than one each, and a closing consultation and follow-up appointment to evaluate results and next steps.
Fourteen days is where a detox and weight programme stops being a reset and becomes a genuine metabolic shift. It is the length to choose if a week has not been enough before.

Immune Care, 7 days
7 nights · €14,545

Immune Care, 7 days
7 nights · €14,545
Designed both as effective aftercare following illness and as proactive protection against future infection. The immune work is among the most interventional things the house does: intravenous vitamin C, zinc and homeopathic infusions alongside ozone therapy to activate and strengthen the immune system.
It is paired with a genuinely outdoor week. Guided hiking and biking tours through the Black Forest sit alongside the infusions, and cardiovascular and respiratory function are properly measured with cardiac ultrasound, exercise ECG, pulmonary function testing and VNS diagnostics.

The Kings Way
10 nights · €15,535

The Kings Way
10 nights · €15,535
The flagship weight and detoxification programme. Ten days combining personalised nutrition, targeted training and daily medical supervision with a very dense treatment schedule, aimed at weight reduction, detoxification and regeneration together.
The inclusion list is among the longest here: six liver compresses, three colon hydrotherapy sessions, ozone therapy, vitamin infusions, altitude training, two mental health consultations and a beauty consultation with Dr Yusuf Yildirim, all inside the same ten days.
Arrival is Sunday or Tuesday, with the programme beginning the following day.

Revive Package
14 nights · €19,680

Revive Package
14 nights · €19,680
The burnout programme, and the house is careful about how it frames it. Burnout is not treated here as a medical illness but as a psychological and physical reaction to deficiency symptoms, intolerances and stress. The programme can be done on its own, alongside psychotherapy, afterwards, or to fill the wait until a therapy place comes up.
Fourteen days and the densest bodywork schedule in the house: nine Medical Movement Training sessions and nine Physio Plus sessions, four LymphBalance, three foot reflexology and three fascia release sessions, two jaw joint therapy sessions, plus Cranio Sacral, Connective Balance, postural therapy and abdominal deep tissue work.
The package starts on a Monday or a Wednesday, so arrival is Sunday or Tuesday, on request and subject to availability.
Apheresis
5 nights · €24,720
Apheresis
5 nights · €24,720
Blood purification as a five day programme, which is a genuinely unusual thing to find inside a hotel. Two procedures sit at its centre: chelation therapy, using targeted infusions to bind and eliminate heavy metals and environmental toxins after a diagnostic assessment of your individual toxic load, and apheresis itself.
Plasmapheresis and haematopheresis are performed individually or together depending on clinical indication. Both allow targeted removal of disease-triggering substances from the plasma or the blood cells, relieving the immune system and supporting the treatment of chronic stress.
It is built on the full Medical Care Total diagnostic base, so the therapeutic decisions follow from measurement rather than preceding it.

Immune Care, 14 days
14 nights · €26,350

Immune Care, 14 days
14 nights · €26,350
The fourteen day version doubles the interventional core: six immune infusions and six ozone sessions rather than three of each, five altitude training sessions, five Airnergy sessions and four respiratory balance sessions, with a follow-up appointment during the stay as well as a final consultation.
This is the programme for a long recovery rather than a short one, and the length is the point. Immune reconstruction after serious or prolonged illness does not happen in a week.

Ultimate Medical Health
14 nights · €39,450

Ultimate Medical Health
14 nights · €39,450
The deepest diagnostic programme in our entire catalogue, and the reason to consider Brenners over any comparable house if the goal is to leave nothing unexamined. Fourteen days of preventative medicine at a level most people never access outside a hospital admission.
Alongside the full Medical Care Total workup it adds whole-body MRI, gastroscopy and colonoscopy, genetic analysis of inherited risk, skin cancer screening, urological and gynaecological screening, and a complete dental examination. The therapeutic side runs personalised intravenous infusions, colon hydrotherapy, ozone therapy and physiotherapy alongside it.
The property asks for at least three weeks notice so the stay can be properly built around you. Given what is being scheduled, that is not a formality.
The ReLIFE Longevity Protocol by Dr. König
10 nights · €44,660
The ReLIFE Longevity Protocol by Dr. König
10 nights · €44,660
The most advanced and most expensive programme Brenners offers, and one of very few places in Europe combining all three of its phases in a single supervised stay. The brochure lists it in the contents as Complete Longevity Regeneration 3.0.
It runs in three coordinated phases. Deep Detox opens with medically supervised chelation therapy targeting heavy metals, environmental toxins and cellular-level interference fields. Immune Reset follows with personalised plasma treatment and targeted haematopoietic therapy, designed to clear autoimmune complexes, oxidised lipids, protein-bound toxins and excess cholesterol. Biocellular Renewal then uses autologous pluripotent stem cells on the protocol developed by Prof. Alt, to reactivate cellular function and the body’s own repair mechanisms.
It is modular: individual elements can be booked separately, which suits returning guests or anyone with one specific therapeutic goal rather than the full protocol.

Balance of Life
7 nights · Price on request

Balance of Life
7 nights · Price on request
A seven night wellbeing programme rather than a medical one, built around physiotherapy and body oriented treatment rather than diagnostics. It draws on the physiotherapy practice inside the house, including techniques developed out of osteopathy.
It suits guests who want structure, treatment and the full run of the spa without the laboratory work and the medical appointments that come with the packages from Brenners Medical Care.

Feel Good Package
4–7 nights · Price on request

Feel Good Package
4–7 nights · Price on request
A four night package built around a therapy programme tailored to the individual, with the house framing it for guests arriving after a period of particular stress or after a serious illness.
It is the shortest route into what the house does, and the most flexible: the content is assembled around what you arrive with rather than following a fixed protocol.

Relaxation and Harmony
2–5 nights · Price on request

Relaxation and Harmony
2–5 nights · Price on request
The short break, designed for two people and priced that way. Two nights or more, combining the spa with the hotel’s dining rather than with a dietary programme: daily Brenners breakfast, a three course dinner in the Wintergarten restaurant and a six course dinner at Fritz & Felix.
It is the one offering here that is unapologetically a pleasure trip. There is no protocol, no laboratory work and no consultation, just full access to five thousand square metres of spa and two very good dinners.

Rooms & suites

Stéphanie Spa Suite
110 sqm · Sleeps 3

Stéphanie Spa Suite
110 sqm · Sleeps 3
The top category in the wing, at roughly 110 square metres, and the reason to book it is the private spa inside the suite: its own sauna, steam room and fitness equipment. Add a spacious living room, a balcony with a park view, and a marble bathroom with a separate powder room. It can be connected to a Deluxe Stéphanie Room, which is how families and guests travelling with staff use it. Brenners is clear that this is already among its highest categories, so no further upgrade is available on it.

Deluxe Stéphanie Room
50 sqm · Sleeps 3

Deluxe Stéphanie Room
50 sqm · Sleeps 3
At roughly 50 square metres with a park view, and partially with a balcony, this is the category most guests take for a seven or fourteen day programme, on the straightforward grounds that a fortnight in the entry room is a long time. Five of them exist. It takes up to three guests, and a rollaway bed is available on request, which makes it workable for a guest travelling with a companion.

Superior Stéphanie Room
40 sqm · Double occupancy

Superior Stéphanie Room
40 sqm · Double occupancy
The entry category in the Villa Stéphanie wing, at roughly 40 square metres with a patio view. There are only two of them in the whole property, so they go early. Being in the wing puts you very close to the doctors and the treatment rooms rather than to the restaurants and the concierge, which is the trade guests on a programme usually want to make. In practice Brenners has been willing to upgrade this category to a Deluxe Stéphanie Room where availability allows.

Frequently asked questions
What is the atmosphere like, and who stays here?
Quiet, formal and grown up, in the register of a private house rather than a clinic or a resort. The art, the Feng Shui influenced layout and the park do a lot of work to keep the medical side from feeling institutional. The guest mix is largely German, Swiss and international, skewing older and senior, and a good number are returning annually for the same protocol. It is not a sociable property and nobody is trying to make it one.
What makes Villa Stéphanie different?
Four independent medical practices operating inside a grand hotel. That is the whole proposition, and nothing else at this level replicates it. It buys you a diagnostic range that runs from echocardiography to sports dentistry, delivered by practising specialists, in a building where fifteen rooms share five thousand square metres of spa. Add the Digital Detox switch, a private park in a UNESCO listed spa town, and a diet that is genuinely enjoyable, and it solves the specific problem of wanting real medicine without a clinical stay.
How much does Villa Stéphanie cost?
Prices are being integrated. The structure to understand is that medical programmes are quoted per person and exclude accommodation entirely, with the room charged separately per night and a visitors tax on top. Programme lengths run from two days to fourteen. Contact us for a current quote and we will confirm it with the property.
What are the alternatives to Villa Stéphanie?
In Germany the natural comparisons are Lanserhof Sylt and Lanserhof Tegernsee, both more rigorous and considerably more clinical, and Buchinger Wilhelmi Überlingen if therapeutic fasting is the goal. In Austria, MAYRLIFE, Park Igls and the Original Mayr Medical Resort deliver the Mayr protocol with more discipline and less grandeur. In Switzerland, Clinique La Prairie Montreux and Grand Resort Bad Ragaz offer a comparable blend of medicine and luxury hotel, with Bad Ragaz the closest in spirit. Choose Villa Stéphanie when the hotel matters as much as the medicine.
Is Villa Stéphanie the same thing as Brenners Park-Hotel?
They share a park and a management, but they are two buildings with two different purposes. Brenners Park-Hotel & Spa is the grand hotel. Villa Stéphanie is the separate five floor house given over to spa, medicine and recovery, with only fifteen rooms of its own, and Brenners Medical Care sits next door again in Haus Julius. You can stay in the hotel and use Villa Stéphanie, or stay inside Villa Stéphanie itself, which is what most programme guests do. There is a corridor to go from Brenners Park to Villa Stephanie.
Who actually treats me?
Independent specialists running their own private practices inside the building, not hotel staff. Dr Harry F. König and his team handle integrative naturopathic diagnostics and therapy, Liliane Goschy runs physiotherapy and medical fitness, Dr Yusuf Yildirim covers aesthetic medicine, Dr S. Marcus Beschnidt covers dentistry and sports dentistry, and Dr George N. Assad is the orthopaedic specialist. That structure is the main reason the medical range here is wider than at most hotel spas.
Do I have to arrive on a Sunday?
For most medical packages, yes. The published rule is arrival on Sunday with the programme beginning the following day. The ten day Kings Way package also accepts Tuesday arrivals, and the Revive and Orthopaedics packages can start after a Wednesday arrival on request and subject to availability. The shorter dental and wellbeing packages are more flexible. Tell us your dates and we will confirm what is possible.
Does the programme price include my room?
No, and this catches people out. Every medical package is quoted per person for the programme only, with the words "overnight stay not included". The room is a separate nightly rate on top, plus a visitors tax of € 3.80 per person per night. When you compare Villa Stéphanie against an all inclusive clinic, make sure you are adding both numbers together.
Can I come for something short?
Yes, and it is one of the more flexible medical houses in that respect. The Best Sleep package runs two days on a three night minimum, Dental Relax and Winners Bite run three days, and Baden Smile runs four. The serious detox, immune and burnout work needs seven days and reaches its full form at fourteen.
Is the food difficult?
Less than most. Vitality cuisine is lactose and gluten free with an individual menu plan, vegetarian and vegan on request, and it is cooked by dedicated diet gourmet chefs rather than being a lighter version of the hotel menu. There is no fasting protocol at the centre of the house, so guests who dread a week of broth generally do well here.
What is the Digital Detox switch?
A physical switch in each Villa Stéphanie room that cuts the wireless signal at the wall. It sounds like a gimmick and it is the single most talked about feature of the house, largely because guests on a sleep or burnout programme actually use it.
